One for the grrrlz
I figured I’d celebrate progress thus far by doing something nice for my grrrlz (dogs, for those of you who only speak vanilla-style English). I changed out their beat up old dog food bag with a spanky new container with a locking lid. This will, hopefully, keep the kibbles fresher in the summer and less prone to bugs once the back door is open for most of the day. The negative to all of this (from their viewpoint) is that they can no longer shove their heads in to grab a quick mouthful before I can stop them. Life is balance, after all.
Sounder isn’t too thrilled with the new thief-proof bin, but in this case her lovely puppy-eyes just don’t work as intended.
:dog:
Filling my locking-lid-freshness-keeper dog food containers is the highlight of Sasha’s month. She seems to think that the stream from the bag to the container is a buffet for her to enjoy. Poor Sounder… she’ll clue in and show up on containter-filling day.
She’s learned that she has to sit for treats. So now she sits…. everywhere!! I’m sure the filling of the can will be attended avidly by all three.
I’m pretty sure that wasn’t much of a gift for them, since it’s a thief-proof container. 😉 Poor grrrlz!
True…. Oh well, they’ll live…. Just not as sneakily as before!
