Hello coffeemaker!
One benefit of watching VH1’s “100 Most Shocking Moments in Music” is that it goes on for hours and there are a LOT of commercial breaks. In tiny little segments, I ROCKED the microwave stand and environs! There’s still a few (dozen) layers of dust on the things I’ve unearthed, but what archaeological expedition doesn’t have a lot of dust? Here’s proof that I’m not fibbing:
There’s still more to be done along the bottom, and I’ve actually nibbled away at some of it since taking the pic (the red thing is now gone), but that’s probably it for today. I feel grubby and I have leftover pizza calling my name….
*zing*
:pizza:
Wow! Congrats!! Erm, how many coffee pots are in there??
Thanks!! Heh…. The black in the lower left is a 4-cup coffeemaker, the white by the stand is a Mrs. Tea, the thing behind is a Cafe Duo that makes one cup at a time (which the coffee maker sux at), and the thing in the middle is a coffee grinder. So, actually, there is only one actual coffee “pot” in there.
ahhh, okay, makes much more sense now! I had a coffee maker, a crappy old one. I think the boys may have “donated” it to Goodwill in the move. (ie thrown it out)
I also have a very nice espresso machine about 1.5 feet NW of the far corner of the microwave stand. I’m hoping to have recovered it by June….
That was my first thought, too, Stacey… how many coffee pots?? Linda – toss ’em all! You haven’t used them, get rid of them! “Donate them to goodwill”…

Heh…. by that logic I should also throw out the blue chair in the living room, my kitchen table and 4 chairs, my espresso machine, my good stereo, and the list goes on. I think there’s a difference between having access and not using, and not using because of lack of access.
