…. how a new dog can find all kinds of things the old ones overlooked?  I’m not sure how much I’ve been accomplishing since last Wednesday, but I certainly have spent a lot of time picking things up and putting them either back where they “fell” from or, more often, somewhere safely out of reach so they don’t “fall” again.  Most of these “falls” have some furry four-legged assistance.  The old dogs appreciate the purpose of symbolic barriers, the new one not so much.  If she could drive, she’d be a traffic cop’s worst nightmare, “Oh no, officer, I can get through there just fine, see?  Just to the left of that bright orange barrier.  No problem!  Cya!!”
